I wasn’t a fan of how this place is set up. Some spots felt really cramped, the signs weren’t super clear, and we kept ending up walking in circles. It just made the whole visit feel more stressful Than it needed to be. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back after that.

Umm, it feels a little pricey for what members actually get. I expected a bit more value for the cost.

We went in the early afternoon and had to wait a little at the entrance, then again later at the touch tank, but it wasn’t anything too frustrating. After a few minutes, the staff got things moving and kept the line organized. Overall, it was a smooth visit and the waits didn’t really take away from the experience.

The exhibits were okay overall, but a few of them felt small or a little outdated. My kids really enjoyed the seals and jellyfish, so that part was nice. I did feel a bit pressured to make the most of it because of the ticket price, and I expected a little more for what we paid.

We booked the boat tour through maritimeaquarium.org, it was just kind of disappointing. Check-in felt a little confusing, and we weren’t really sure where we were supposed to wait because no one explained much.

The boat itself was fine, but the actual tour felt rushed, and it was hard to hear what the guide was saying unless you were standing really close. The guide seemed friendly, but we didn’t get as much information as I was expecting.
For the price, I thought it would be a better experience. My kids got bored quickly, and we left feeling like it wasn’t really worth the trip. Did anyone else have the same issue with the boat tour, or did we just catch it on an off day?

I had a hard time using it because the menus were confusing, and a lot of the buttons didnt have labels. I kept clicking around trying to guess what things did, which got frustrating fast...

It’s definitely fun and kept me entertained for a bit, but it doesn’t offer much in the way of education. If you’re looking for something light and playful, it’s worth checking out. But if your main goal is actual learning, I’d recommend pairing it with a more structured resource...

We went for a special event, and it felt crowded and not planned out very well. The lines moved slowly, and different staff members were giving us different answers, which made the whole thing more frustrating than fun. The aquarium itself was fine, but the event didn’t really feel worth the extra cost. I also tried emailing about a few questions beforehand, and the replies felt like they were written by robots, not actual people trying to help. Maybe going on a normal day would be a better experience.

My family and I went to the Maritime Aquarium last weekend, parking was easier than I expected. We used the nearby garage, and it was only a short walk over, maybe a few minutes. It did get a little backed up when everyone was leaving, so having a little patience definitely helps. The signs weren’t perfect, but between me and my husband, we figured it out without much trouble. I’d give it 4 stars overall because it was convenient, just not exactly cheap. Still, for that area, it was better than I thought it would be...

I went in thinking it would be a nice, easy afternoon, so I was disappointed with how it turned out. The staff didn’t seem very happy to have us there, and a couple of the people at the front desk came across as short and not especially welcoming. Maybe they were just having a hectic day, but it definitely changed the mood of the whole visit. For what we paid, I was expecting at least some basic friendliness. I don’t think I’d be in a hurry to go back.

The aquarium was mostly clean and the tanks looked good, so I can’t really complain about that part. But the bathrooms and the food table areas were kind of messy, like they’d been overlooked for a while. It wasn’t awful, just not as tidy as I expected for a place like this. it felt like one of those policy loopholes where the main exhibits stay spotless because they have to, but the shared areas don’t get the same attention. Still had a decent time overall, but they could definitely tighten that up.

I expected better when it comes to the way the animals are cared for. It just didn’t feel like the level of attention and compassion I was hoping to see. If things don’t improve, I’ll probably take my support somewhere else.

I know some people might not agree, but I felt the cafe was pricey for what it offered. We went in hoping to grab something easy for the kids, and there just wasn’t much choice for them. Maybe it works better for adults, but for a family visit, it wasn’t really ideal.

Aquarium was fun. Gift shop was okay, just kinda small. Cute plushies and magnets, but not a ton of sizes or local stuff. Prices were normal.

The touch tanks and little hands-on areas were probably the best part for us, the kids really enjoyed getting to interact with things instead of just looking around. It was crowded though, so some parts felt rushed, almost like they wanted everyone to keep moving along and not linger too much. A few exhibits also didn’t have much information, which made me wonder if they’re counting more on the interactive stuff than actually explaining things. Still, it was an okay visit overall and the kids had a good time

Some pages just gave me that “where am I supposed to click?” feeling. I had to poke around more than I expected to find parking details, and the menu could definitely be more straightforward. It’s not a bad site at all, just kind of average. It works, but I think it could use a little cleanup to make everything feel easier to find...
